Terms & booking conditions.
These terms apply to your use of this website and, in general terms, to bookings made with Evera Treks. Your confirmed booking will set out the specific terms that apply to your trip.
About this site
This site is published by Evera Treks, a Kathmandu-based trekking and travel company. Trek details, itineraries and prices on this site are indicative and are confirmed in writing at the time of booking.
Submitting an enquiry through this site does not create a booking or a contract. A trip is confirmed only once we've agreed the itinerary, dates and price with you directly.
Booking, deposit and cancellation
Booking a trip typically requires a deposit to secure your place, with the balance due before departure. Cancellation, whether by you or by us (for example due to weather, insufficient group numbers, or events beyond our control), is handled according to the cancellation terms in your booking confirmation.
TODO: the client must supply the actual deposit amount/percentage, balance due date, and the cancellation/refund schedule (e.g. tiered refund percentages by days-before-departure). No specific figures are published here until those are confirmed, so nothing below is a substitute for your written booking confirmation.
Travel insurance and risk
Trekking in Nepal, particularly at altitude, carries inherent risk. Travel insurance covering high-altitude trekking and emergency evacuation is required for every trip and is your responsibility to arrange.
We take reasonable care in planning and guiding every trip, but weather, road and flight conditions, altitude, and other factors beyond our control can change an itinerary at short notice. Where that happens, our guides will make the safety of the group the priority.
Content and liability
We take care to keep this site accurate, but content, prices and availability may change and are provided without warranty. Nothing on this site is travel insurance, medical or legal advice.
Where a permit, park regulation or government requirement is referenced, the governing authority's current rule prevails over any summary on this site.
